A Network, Not a Franchise
Hilti is not a classic franchise system.
Every Hilti school is independent and makes its own decisions. Each school has its own story, its own community, its own coaches, and its own character.
That independence matters to us. Hilti doesn't mean every school has to operate the same way, or that decisions are dictated centrally.
A Team, at the Same Time
Trust instead of control.
We visit each other, train together, and share knowledge and experience. Coaches and members from our schools come together for joint training sessions, seminars, and Hilti Camps.
Hilti Camps are free for members of every Hilti school. They give people the chance to work with different coaches and training partners, discover new perspectives, and actively live out the connection between our schools.
That's how a network emerges that isn't built on control or rigid rules, but on trust, shared values, and real relationships between the people within the team.

Discrimination, bullying, abusive behavior, or deliberately reckless training have no place in our teams.

Good Jiu-Jitsu isn't just about technical and athletic development for us — it also means taking responsibility for the people we share the mats with every day.
This attitude is one of the most important things every school in the Hilti network has in common.

Hilti's schools and partner schools in Germany are independent teams with different histories, structures, and areas of focus. What connects us is a shared set of values, mutual support, and active exchange between our schools.

Hilti isn't just present in Germany — it's part of an international network of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools.
Hilti is especially well rooted in Scandinavia. Schools in Sweden and Finland have been an important part of the network for many years. Beyond that, Hilti is also present in Greece and other parts of Europe.
The international headquarters of the Hilti network is at Hilti BJJ Stockholm in Sweden.

The same principle applies internationally as it does within Hilti Germany: the schools are independent, yet connected to one another.
The international network lives through personal exchange. Members and coaches visit each other, train together, and meet at camps and seminars. That's how connections form that reach far beyond individual training halls or national borders.
Hilti is a network that has grown through shared experiences — through training, exchange, friendships, and a shared enthusiasm for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
International Head Coach
Pedro Duarte
The international Head Coach of the Hilti network is Pedro Duarte. Pedro is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Murilo Bustamante, with a long career as both an athlete and a coach. His connection to Hilti goes back to the early 2000s.
Since then, Pedro has accompanied the network's development and played a key role in building and growing Hilti in Scandinavia and beyond. Over many years, close relationships formed between Pedro and the Hilti schools in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and other parts of Europe.
As International Head Coach, he guides the athletic and technical development of the network and connects the different parts of Hilti with one another. His role fits our core idea well: individual schools remain independent and self-governed, yet are connected through shared values, personal exchange, and the shared joy of training together and learning from each other.
Pedro is therefore not just the International Head Coach of Hilti, but has been an important part of the history and growth of our network for many years.
