Competition Team
Hilti BJJ Berlin is one of the most successful competition teams in Germany. We develop athletes for the long term, with clean technique and a real team culture.
Competition Experience
Our team regularly competes at national and international tournaments, including events from AJP, IBJJF, and JJIF.
World championship titles, European championship titles, Grand Slam wins, and international medals are all part of our team's history.
Our intensive youth development work is now paying off on the international stage too. Our kids and teens have already won international titles, celebrated Grand Slam victories, and secured European championship titles.
More than just medals
Our Competition Team regularly attends national and international tournaments. We travel together to competitions across Germany and Europe. In recent years, we've traveled with young athletes and adults to Greece, Italy, Portugal, and other European countries, among others.
Our coaching doesn't end at the edge of the mat. Match analysis, game planning, mental preparation, and reviewing together are just as much a part of our approach as technique training and sparring.
With our Prehab & Performance Class, we also build a foundation for long-term resilience, injury prevention, and sustainable athletic development.
The team mindset matters a lot to us. We coach, support, and motivate each other. At competitions, no one stands alone at the mat.
Coaching
Competition training with us doesn't mean chaos and toughness, but structure, good guidance, and long-term development.

Many successful athletes started here as beginners. Our competition structure combines youth development, adult training, travel, and a real team culture.
Our Approach
We want to make athletes strong: technically, physically, and mentally.
Not everyone needs to compete right away. We build athletes up step by step.
Solid fundamentals matter more than short-term pressure or chaotic sparring.
Anyone competing for the team also represents the team. Respect and reliability are part of that.
Our coaches bring experience from international tournaments directly into training.
In our youth program too, we guide athletes responsibly toward competition.
Our athletes compete under various rule sets and formats.
Real Competition Moments
Our athletes compete under various rule sets and formats. What matters isn't just the result, but the development along the way.
For us, tournaments are a tool: they show us what we need to work on, strengthen the team, and give athletes clear goals.
